every year there is someone who is in teen violence here where i live there is always someone whos been shot stabbed or raped or ran over teen violence has to stop and it has to stop now thats just alot of hatred and jelousy!!!

my boyfriend was in teen violence. if it wasnt for me...he would still be hanging around the people he was hanging around. he was involved with selling drugs and was in a gang. i was soooo terrified of getting a phone call saying that he got arrested, he was missing, or that he even had died. we as people really need to figure out a way to stop teen violence all together because its getting worse and worse everyday.

yes teen violence have affected my life i was raised in camden nj and all ive been around is violence i have been dealing drugs since i was 12 years old and never cared about my life and i also been in and out of jail as well but it was the life i chose to live and now im trying to get it back together.

teen violence hasnt affected me because i havent been in that situation. i have a boyfriend that has tho. i begged him to get out of a gang and he did. i did that because if i didnt then he would lose his life and his loved ones and/or his life would be messed up...

yes teen violence affected me I been called a tease and i been abused by guys in school I have alot of friends in gangs and me seeing people get hurt makes me want to help others from not getting bullied it really touch me I have told alot of friendz of mines is not worth to be in a gang to hurt others and I use to be in a gang but I NEVER hurt nobody cuz its not me im just a nice person i realize that gangs are just stupid and u only getting yourself and others in danger plz save others by saying no TO gangs

when i seen the show on teen violence it really touch me my brother was just killed a few weeks ago. it hurts me everyday.i cry all the time.iam glad 106@park did a show on this, all of the crimes going on for no reason needs to stop.my brother just lost his life for no reason.my family will never be the same.

That show that they showed on teen violence was heart-touching and it'z one i will not forget.Well I havent been apart of a gang but ive been brought up around it and it'z hard seeing people that you know die around you due to teen violence. All of this knife/gun crime with teenagers needs to stop but how?? Just talking about it will not change their minds,we will need to come together and sort this out because these people are supposed to be the future...!!

Well, I have lost a lot of friends to teen violence, so for me it affected me hard. I have had friends that were in gangs and gun down. To friends that were in just the wronge place at the wronge time. Teen violence has affected a lot of people. I hope that we as stand as one nation and just see the bigger picture and see that all we are doing is harming one self.

yeah i had been bullied before than they had stop until i had told (i was in the 1st grade when i got bullied). i know some people from my old school that where in a gang. it was alot a people at my school. iam trying to stay away from the gang members because they killing people in my area

yeh it touched me alot , but i was not goin to kill anybody or do anything hurtful to anybody. but anyways it touched me alot and it is very sad because the same issue happend to my brother. my borther was a hornor roll student and didn't harm anybody. i wil miss my brother but he had to go for no reason. i luv yuh Austin.

That show they did on Teen Violence was absolutely heart-breaking! Nobody is this universe deserve to DIE, but when it happens because it will, they should die on PEACEFUL terms not TRAGEDY! Teen Violence is NOT the answer! I have been fortunate enough not to lose somebody to Teen Violence but I do know people who have suffered that terrible fate and I can't believe that we have people out there so cruel that enjoy seeing people in pain! I have a brother and a cousin who are right now at this very moment in a gang and it scares me because I don't want to be on 106andpark talking about my dead brother and cousin! I encourage everybody to STOP THE VIOLENCE while you can!

Yes it has affected me deeply. On Nov.4 my brother was brutally murdered shot and killed in the street like a dog over nonsense. It is very sad when kids get killed for no reason . My brother was just 18 yrs. old. We will miss him deeply. And hope his killer is brought to justice very soon R.I.P. Isiah Davis Luv your sister and brother.

WELL TO START OFF I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT ALL THESE PEOPLE THATS IN A GANG LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION: WHEN GOD COMES BACK WHERE DO YOUR RULES AND PEOPLE U GANG BANG WITH WILL GO? WELL I CAN TELL U THAT(TO HELL) WHEN U PUT YOUR SELF IN UNGODLY THINGS YOU WILL END UP IN A UNGODLY PLACE AND THATS NOT WHERE U WANT TO BE. well i am not in a gang but i have lost somebody in i had a cousin who was like a bother and he was in volla in a gang he was so deep in it that they killed him at the age of 25 yearsold.and where i live at ts nothing but gang volicen here .and if you have kids or brothers or sisters please need to talk them an raised them right .

well me personally im not in a gang. I was in one in my past but by me losing my brother and god-brother made me realize i wasnt fit out for it. now see you might think im just talking and bloods and crips, NO. Down where i come from you have girl gangs and boy gangs seperate and most of all the most dangerous is the hood beefs. Yeah we all are from DC but we have inside beefs as well. And its been alot of deaths in the dmv area this year by itself. So when I ask you please stay away from gangs im coming from the bottom of my heart people. If you dont want to lose anyone you love please talk to them and get help now before its oo late!!

last year my 14 year-old son was murdered he was just a baby me and my family miss him so much I know he is in HEAVEN watching over us he is truly loved. one night on August 24 2008 my son Shareet Lee Jones went to a dollar party with his friends as shareet was leaving the party his so called friends never told him they were picking with a man earlier that evening the man was a pizza man/ ex-cop the man waited for the children at the corner he shot into a crowd of eight boys the bullet struck my son in the chest and when my son turned and ran he chased him down and shot him in the back . Then after my son fell pizza man/ ex-cop took all his money out of his pocket and threw it on my son body ,and when the cops arrived the witnesses where told to go in there houses before they get locked up. I OFTEN WONDER DID HE KNOW THAT I HELD HIM IN MY HEART.The nurse from the hospital called me the next day and she told me that she tried to comfort my son the best way she knew how because she had kids too she told me that my son kept calling for me !!!!!! The witnesses told me later that your son didn't do anything to that man well who will step up to the plate not too many people. Several days after the murder happened the news stations came to the scene and never aired what all the witnesses told them the truth. May my boy rest in peace and one day I pray justice will be served. A man told me he was just getting off of work and saw everthing he told me he picked my son up and begged the cop to take my son to the hospital .no ambulance was ever called. I PRAY TO GOD ABOUT THIS ALL THE TIME.
