After much speculation that Usher and his wife Tameka Foster's marriage was on the rocks,news of the couple'sdivorce filinghit the wire today.Contactmusic.com is reporting thatthedivorce papers were filed this morning (Thurs., June 11) in Atlanta, Georgia where the coupleresides.

According to In Touch Magazine, the two have actually been living apart for the past year. In the two years they've been married, Tamekahas given birth to two of Usher's children, 18-month old Usher Raymond V, and 6-month Navyid.

The marriage has been a troubled one ever since the two have been in the public eye. They were married back in September of 2007, in a courtroom wedding that took place only six days after the moreelaborateplanned wedding at L.A. Reid's housein the Hamptonswas suddenly canceled.

Usher fired his mother Jonetta Patton as his manager shortly after his relationship with Tameka. Around that time, there was much speculationthat his mother did not get along with his new wife.

A few months ago, Tameka was hospitalized after she suffered cardiac arrest after cosmetic surgery in Brazil. Though Usher flew to her side, there were rumors that he was unaware she was even having cosmetic surgery.

Last week, pictures of Usher and another woman walking around in Los Angeles began to surface online.

    I knew that their marriage wouldn't last long anyway, just my opinion. But, I still love usher, can't wait til his cd comes out, at least that's what i heard

    She should have known better-especially after his last break up.Im sure she was aware of what he did to Chili (from TLC) & the ninja wrote a song about!! and he fired his mother...why would you get involved with someone like that? Now she got Burned and He got It Bad for a new chick that Makes him Wanna treat her like the girl(s) she Reminds him Of like dirt-you feel me?..lol

    I SEEN THAT COMING I MEAN HE IS ALOT YOUNGER THAN SHE IS AND CAN GET JUST ABOUT ANYONE HE WANTS SO WHY SETTLE FOR SOMEONE THAT OLD, NOT KNOCKING OLDER COMPANIONS ITS JUST REALITY. BESIDES THEY SAY MOM KNOWS BEST AND SHE DID TRY TO WARN HER SON. I WISH HIM THE BEST AND THE KIDS AS WELL BC HAVING CHILDREN INVOLVED MAKES IT MORE DIFFICULT. AND O I HOPE HE HAD A PRE-NUMP!

    I'm sorry that they are going through these problems so early into their marriage especially being that they have two small children. But all couples have problems from time to time I think that if they both just sit back and take a minute to remember why they got married in the first place they might be able to work it all out. It should at least be a consideration for the sake of their children.

    I believe Tameka manipulated Usher into marrying her had his kids and now feel like she own him and his money .Doing sneaky things behind his back ,like having surgery in brazil almost dying!Come on every since Usher married her his record sales dropped she is bad luck for him get rid of her BOO.

    I feel bad for all of you all. I pray that Tameka will make a speeding recovery from her surgery, and I hope for the kids sake that this doesn't put a hole in their hearts. Keep me posted on what is to come for the continuation of Usher's and Tameka's Divorce.
