Fabolous made his “way” to the top of the charts this week.
“Loso’s Way,” the latest effort from the Brooklyn rapper, sold 99,000 copies to take the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts this week. Last week’s top urban seller, Maxwell, remained at No. 3, selling 55,000 copies of “BLACKsummers'night.” The Black Eyed Peas are coasting to another platinum plaque with “The E.N.D.” moving approximately 49,000 copies to come in at No. 5; while Eminem – who’s caused controversy with his recent diss track, “The Warning,” aimed at Mariah Carey – reached No. 13 with “Relapse.” R&B rookie Jeremih sold 15,000 copies of his self-title debut to round out the top 25, while Twista reached No. 30 with his latest release, “Category F5,” selling 13,000 copies.
Meanwhile toward the bottom half of the Top 200 list, T.I. inches toward double-platinum status with “Paper Trail” selling 3,600 copies to land at No. 115, while Ace Hood, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes bring up the rear at No. 163, 176 and 198, respectively.
Will Loso continue his reign next week? Keep it locked.
