After a lengthy hiatus, Ja Rule is poised to make a return to rap.
Speaking to HipHopDX, Ja revealed plans for his upcoming projects.
“I’m putting together a beautiful album,” he said of his new work, scheduled to drop next year. “It’s coming out real hot. I couldn’t be happier right now.”
The Queens rapper also disclosed that he is working on a mixtape tentatively titled, “Welcome To Rule York,” which he is planning to release later this year.
“I’m doing it on my own right now,” he said. “I kind of like working on my own on the mixtapes. But, I might get a deejay to host it. I’m not sure yet.”
Ja Rule is also back in the movie game as well.
“I just did a joint that’s going to the film festival,” he said. “It’s called, “Don’t Fade Away,” with me and Mischa Barton. Then, I’m working on a film right now with Susan Batson called, “In the Lower Ninth.” It’s just getting the green light so we’ll be shooting that soon.
